Welcome desk

Please pick up your official LSS2012 badge and symposium program Thursday morning, September 2nd at the welcome desk, located in the SG building on level 1(see map).

• Wednesday afternoon, August 29th from 1 to 4 pm
• Thursday morning, August 30th from 8 to 10 am

Access - wear your badge!

Access to the SG1 lecture hall, coffee breaks and Networking Event will be allowed only for holders of the LSS2012 badge, which should be worn or carried with you at all times.

Getting there

Parking space is available in limited numbers on the EPFL campus (see map); we strongly recommend using public transport (metro line M1 from Lausanne or Renens, bus lines 58 from Morges and 33 from Ecublens/Renens/Prilly): see local public transport system website here (French only, sorry).

Lodging

A list of hotels with some rooms earmarked for LSS2012 participants at discount rates is available here (mention the keyword ‘LSS2012’ as you enquire or register). For other hotels in or near Lausanne, please visit the tourist office website.

Posters

All posters will be on display in the SG building's "atrium" (level 0): see map.

Format is A0 (841mm wide by 1189mm high) / portrait (vertical).

Posters may be pinned on the display boards starting Tuesday, August 28th all day and should be up by all means before the August 29th networking event (4:00 p.m.).

Please keep your poster on display over the entire duration of the Symposium, and make sure to remove it at the end!

Life Sciences Fair and Networking Event

Exhibitor booths will be open over the entire duration of the Symposium, in the SG building's "Atrium" (level 0, see map), in particular during the Networking Event which will take place on August 29th , starting 4:00 p.m.

Wireless access to the internet will be granted to LSS2012 participants: please ask for details at the welcome desk.
